Overview

This policy explains how Waseej FZE ("Waseej", "we") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use the Waseej website and app. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

What We Collect

Your account

Your name, email and password. Passwords are handled by Google's Firebase Authentication; we never see them. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email with us.

Your balance and activity

Your points balance; your purchase history (order number, package, amount, points, date); your watch history (film, points charged, time watched, when); an ID for the headset session signed in to your account; and whether we have sent you the app link.

Orders and payments

Your name and email; your mobile number if you give it (it is optional, and we use it to arrange headset delivery); the delivery address you give us; and the payment result the bank sends us (approved or declined, reference, amount). You enter your card details on the bank's page only — we never see or store your card number.

When you contact us

What you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or the live chat on the site.

We use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.

Why We Use It

• To create and run your account, and sign you in to the headset app.
• To add and deduct points, and show your balance and history.
• To process payments, issue receipts and invoices, and send you the app link and order messages.
• To deliver the headset, answer your questions and give support.
• To protect the service against fraud and abuse, and meet our legal duties such as accounting and tax.

Who Processes Your Data

We share your data only with those we need to provide the service, and only as much as they need:

• Google Firebase: sign-in, and your account, balance, purchases and watch history.
• Our Odoo system, which runs orders, invoices, receipts and the live chat: your name, email, phone, order details and chat messages.
• The bank (Al Rajhi Bank's payment gateway, via Neoleap): your card details and the payment result.
• An automation service (n8n) that sends the app link, receipts and order messages, and updates your balance after payment.
• Meta: you install the app through our private link and use it with your Meta account. Meta handles its data under its own terms and privacy policy.
• Google: some site fonts load from Google Fonts and trailers play in the YouTube player, so Google receives your IP address.
• A delivery company, when the headset is shipped: your name, phone and address.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of your data is stored and processed outside your country, including our account database on Google servers in Europe. For this we rely on our providers' safeguards, as data-protection laws allow.

Cookies & Browser Storage

We use no advertising or analytics cookies. The site saves only your preferences in your browser's local storage — language, currency, and whether you closed the welcome message — and Firebase keeps you signed in. The live chat and the YouTube player may set their own cookies. You can clear all of this in your browser settings; you will then need to sign in and choose your preferences again.

How Long We Keep Data

We keep your account, balance and watch history while your account is open. When the account is deleted, we delete or anonymise them within 90 days.

We keep order, invoice and payment records for as long as tax and accounting laws require, and support and chat messages for two years after your last contact.

Your Rights

You can:

• See your data and get a copy of it.
• Ask us to correct or complete it.
• Ask us to delete your account and data, except what the law requires us to keep.
• Withdraw your consent, or object to a particular use of your data.

To use any of these rights, email us from your account email at info@waseej.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will reply within a reasonable time. You may also complain to the data-protection authority in your country — in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

Children

Waseej is not directed at children under 13. Children under 13 may use it only through an account created and managed by a parent or guardian. If we learn that we collected data from a child under 13 without a parent's consent, we will delete it. Meta applies its own age rules to its headsets.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), payments happen on the bank's secure page, and only authorised Waseej staff can access account data. No system is fully secure, so choose a strong password just for Waseej and never share it.

Changes to This Policy

We post any change to this policy on this page with its date, and email you about significant changes.
